South Africa vs England 2nd ODI: Proteas batting first, updates
PORT ELIZABETH: Struggling South African side is batting first against England in 2nd of 5 match One Day International series at Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first but they have already lost two premier wickets in the opening 10 overs of the match.
Hashim Amla was clean bowled by Topley after scoring just 4 runs while in-form De Kock was sent back to hut by Ben Stokes.
At the moment South Africa are 65-2 in 15 overs where AB Devilliers and Du Plessis are on crease.
Proteas are having some tough time since last 3 months, they were defeated in Test series against India in India with margin of 3-0 and after that they suffered a 2-1 Test series defeat against England.
The visitors looked in superb form in the first ODI where they defeated the home team by 39 runs via D/L method. It was their batsmen who tore apart the South African bowlers as they piled up an incredible 399 runs in their allotted 50 overs, with some brilliant hitting by Jos Buttler as the wicket-keeper batsman scored a 76-ball 105.
