Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators 6 Feb Highlights- PSL
4th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) was today played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. Like all the previous matches, it was a low scoring game as compare to the ongoing trends of T20 cricket.
The game which was believed to be close one as both the sides were top teams on the points table , turned out to be a one sided affair for the Gladiators. Although, the score placed by Karchi Kings was neverthesless but Ahmed Shehzad with his superb knock crushed the kings single-handedly.
Ahmed Shehzad, who wasn’t in form from last some time, shut all the haters with his classical batting while chasing the target of 148 on the board.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and opted to bowl first, the decision looked quite favorable for Gladiators as they took early wickets.
After the top order failure, Kings batsmen Ravi Bopara and captain Shoaib Malik added some crucial runs but finally they weren’t enough on the board. Finally at the end of 20 overs, Kings managed to set 147 after loosing 7 wickets.
The Gladiators openers were quite furious and from the very beginning of their innings the openers spell bounded the opponents.
As we know that Luke Wright of England and Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shehzad are the openers of the Gladiators, both of them are known for hitting the ball all around.
Quetta is led by the wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed and with two consecutive wins on the board they have proved their self as they are top on the points table.
The final results on the board tells that it was an easy affair in front of Quetta Gladiators as they manged 8 wickets win while 16 balls remaining on the board.
Ahmed Shehzad was awarded Man of the Match for his brilliant knock of 71 of 46 balls.
