Peshawar Zalmi have won the toss and Shahid Khan Afridi decided to bat first. Islamabad United lost their first match against Quetta Gladiators. Mohammad Nawaz from Gladiators dismissed four batsmen of Islamabad team and got man of the match award. He took SR Watson, Babar Azam, SW Billings† and Imran Khalid these four batsmen. Big blow was Watson’s wicket. Misbah-ul-Haq* and AD Russell played only good innings then others, Misbah scored 41 runs and Russell scored 35 runs. Whole team scored 128 runs in 20 overs with loss of seven wickets.
